Florence Kamau-Muthui is the CEO of Arise & Sparkle LLC and Director of Training & Development at Sparkle Training Center. With 15+ years leading HR strategy in higher education and healthcare, she brings advanced degrees in Social Work, Public Administration, and Professional Counseling — plus SHRM-CP and Licensed Associate Independent Clinical Social Worker credentials — to develop the next generation of caregivers.

Laura Wintersteen-Arleth, RN, MN

Laura Wintersteen-Arleth, RN, MN, brings 30+ years of nursing to Sparkle Training Center as CNA Program Director and Instructor. A retired Associate Teaching Professor at WSU College of Nursing, she's specialized in geriatrics, simulation, and diabetes care across the Spokane Veterans Home, CHAS Clinics, Frontier Behavioral Health, and more — and now mentors the next generation of caregivers.

Mercy Kamanda, RN

Mercy Kamanda is a Registered Nurse and certified Registered Nurse Evaluator (RNE) with 10+ years of clinical experience across Kenya, Canada, and the United States. She brings a patient-first lens to every classroom — creating space for students to ask questions, build confidence, and discover the kind of caregiver they want to become.
